About Us
Peter and Andrea have spent more than 15 years travelling throughout Italy and the UK on business and during this time it has been rare to find in the UK good reppresentation of the fine Italian wines and food that are widely available in Italy. Those that could be found were usually limited to the Capital and even there specialists in fine Italian wine are difficult if not impossible to find.
They decided to create a new concept in wine and food and chose to launch this new concept in Chesterfield in Derbyshire in November of 2008 to great acclaim.
Matt Bennison joined Nonsolovino as Head Chef in 2009 and since the restaurant has flourished. With excellent reviews both locally and nationally, Nonsolovino earned it’s place in the Good Food Guide in 2010.
The Enomatic
High technology wine tasting system.
At Nonsolovino customers can choose to purchase a Nonsolovino credit card loaded with credits (50 credits per £5) and use the card to access wine tasting of 16 exquisite wines changed regularly from all accross Italy and the islands. Not only is this an enjoyable experience but it can eliminate the gambling involved when selecting and buying that special bottle of wine.
